We booked Kouki super last minute as we pretty much planned our wedding within the month of July. Kouki was so understanding, and helpful and went above and beyond to help us make the day run so smoothly!
My husband was so worried about how awkward he would look when we did our couple shoot on the day but Kouki made him feel so at ease! All the bridesmaids, groomsmen and myself feel the same way! He even made sure we had a little picnic prepared ( or in our case KFC delivered by my dad 😅) so while we were out doing our wedding shoot with our bridesmaids and groomsmen, we took some time to relax, eat, drink and soak up the moment which was so special and thoughtful! His incredible work is adored and loved by so many of us but especially my husband and I! We can not thank Kouki enough for all his amazing work on our special day!
Our photographer, Michael, is truly talented at his craft. He is a creative photographer with an eye for detail and capturing innovative yet timeless moments. I first came across Kouki when my cousin got married 2 or 3 years ago. He and his wife’s pictures were so beautiful I just knew that if I ever got married I would enquire with him. Fast forward to 2020 when my bf proposed I told him about Kouki, showed him pictures and he said to enquire. Photographers like him made the process easy so that it was one less thing for a bride to stress about. He responded, we set a time and place to meet and upon meeting his out-there character made it even easier. Kouki is funny and helpful, he asks questions that helped me get a lot of things ticked off my list, my then fiancé was sold from our first meeting. We had our engagement shoot that same year and we thought those were amazing, not knowing our wedding ones would be even more spectacular. We met a couple of times after to confirm everything and then in May 2021 the day came. He stayed longer than planned right until it finished, he bought us a 24k gold win, he danced and when we were sent out an album I cried. They say a picture speaks a thousand words, and that saying is true in its purest form when pictures are taken by Kouki. Thank you Kouk, you were worth what we paid and we will always cherish our wedding album. Such raw pictures you captured. From the moment we met Michael and his team, we felt so comfortable and he quickly became like family to us. As is the case with traditional Indian weddings there are a lot of things happening and a lot of emotions and activities. Michael and his team captured these events and moments so beautifully and seamlessly for both our families. I've been to many weddings, and photographers always seem to fall short in quality and lack of direction. Michael isn't one to worry about. Just look at all of the other testimonials! (No they aren't reviews from our extended cousins either). The proof is really in the pudding.
What has been important is making sure that the couple does not only feel comfortable but helps evoke emotion and passion and capture that through a lens. But Michael did this with ease for our ceremony. So if you are looking for someone to capture that moment, I would highly recommend it.

Michael was very easy to contact and listened to our needs on the day. He had a great team and was very generous with his time. Kouki Photography aims to be your friend first which was really important to us. We wanted to feel like we were comfortable with the people who were going to capture our most intimate moments of the day.
Michael and his team were happy to answer any questions and meet multiple times before our wedding to make sure we had every detail covered. They captured our family and friends really well and were easy to communicate with throughout the whole process.

When I first started looking for a photographer for our wedding, I had a budget in mind.
I reached out to those at both scales of our budget (high & low) but ultimately it came down to the contact, responses that I got from Michael & his team. He treated us as a paying client before we even said YES.
His helpful advice, tips and experience ultimately is what decided everything for us as many others just referred us to their site and pricing. I didn’t know what I was looking at on their sites so that wasn’t helpful. Michael & Joel literally stepped us through what our day may look like and much of it we hadn’t considered. Price then wasn’t questionable.
We knew Kouki photography was the best - just follow his IG and you’ll know what I’m talking about lol
We now have our wedding photos back and they literally took us back to that very day. The emotions, the detail is what was captured just speaks for itself.
I highly recommend Kouki & his team. There isn’t anything you’d be disappointed with.

What could I possibly say to justify how great of a photographer Kouki is.. He's very professional, very pedantic, everything you want in a photographer who's capturing your big day aaaaand he gets along with literally everyone! Kouki spent the entire day with us and most of the time you don't even realize he's even there. My husband and I, our family, and our friends were very impressed with the quality of the pictures that we received. We knew he was good however he went above and beyond to deliver a product that we will cherish forever. We were so lucky to have Kouki Photography for our elopement. We met up a couple of times with our photographer, Michael, before the big day. He always made himself available for questions that we had. The images took were stunning. Cannot be happier! Thanks again :)
Michael did our wedding in February. He was so enthusiastic, funny and easy to get along with on the day. It was like having a friend take our photos who just happened to be an amazing photographer. All his communication before and after the event was prompt and helpful. I send Michael images of the “look” I was going for and a photo list of what I wanted, and the photos he delivered met the brief. He went above and beyond, even though he was meant to finish after the cocktail hour he stayed later to get photos of the first dance and cutting of the cake.
He also delivered the photos very quickly after the wedding.
Will treasure the photos forever.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to any future couple.
We’ve all heard “pictures don’t do it justice” but Kouki and Team absolutely nailed it. Every picture taken we will cherish, the team captured every moment we never want to forget, not only with photos but also the videography and edits there are truly no words! I’m so glad we were referred to Kouki and the Team and we have no regrets, money well spent for memories we can forever cherish.
