Kouki Weddings was such a privilege to have at our wedding. From our first meeting with Michael, we could see that he was a very organised, hard-working, talented and charismatic person. We are both quite shy and reserved people so wanted a photographer who would take charge and initiative without us having to worry about it on the day. Michael definitely did not disappoint. I feel like this review is almost as important as my vows because I want everyone to know how talented, kind and FUN Michael is - you will not regret getting him involved in your special day. Michael was available literally any time of the day or night leading up to our wedding and was a huge help in the preparation stage. He played a massive part in making our day really special and it seriously felt like I had another family member with me getting ready during the day, which was probably the best aspect of our whole experience because I wasn't keen on photos. Every singe one of our guests complimented Michael, asked where and HOW we found him and said he really fit in with us - which is exactly how we felt as soon as we met him. We had our sneak peek photos the next day, which were amazing, and then our official images not long after which was doubly amazing. Mike!!! Where do I begin? I first found Mike 8 years ago for my 21st birthday photos. He was such a kind-hearted, super-inclusive and fun photographer, and I can easily say he carries those skills to this day.

Mike has since done my friend’s 21sts, he photographed me being proposed to, me and my partner buying our first home, our engagement party and now our wedding. He has done everything so beautifully, the photographs speak for themselves. Everyone at the functions kept asking me about Mike and complimenting his unique and quirky style. We have had the best wedding experience with Kouki; he went above and beyond to ensure the day went smoothly and had his team of additional photographers and videographers to ensure we didn't miss a single moment. Kouki is very prompt and professional yet very outgoing; interaction with him always feels like you just chilling with your friend and having fun. On the big day, he basically shoots for us from the morning until late at night and he still has that same energy toward the end.

We were and still are blown away by how he captured our day so beyond perfectly!
We booked Kouki super last minute as we pretty much planned our wedding within the month of July. Kouki was so understanding, and helpful and went above and beyond to help us make the day run so smoothly!
My husband was so worried about how awkward he would look when we did our couple shoot on the day but Kouki made him feel so at ease! All the bridesmaids, groomsmen and myself feel the same way! He even made sure we had a little picnic prepared ( or in our case KFC delivered by my dad 😅) so while we were out doing our wedding shoot with our bridesmaids and groomsmen, we took some time to relax, eat, drink and soak up the moment which was so special and thoughtful! His incredible work is adored and loved by so many of us but especially my husband and I! We can not thank Kouki enough for all his amazing work on our special day!

I first came across Kouki when my cousin got married 2 or 3 years ago. He and his wife’s pictures were so beautiful I just knew that if I ever got married I would enquire with him. Fast forward to 2020 when my bf proposed I told him about Kouki, showed him pictures and he said to enquire. Photographers like him made the process easy so that it was one less thing for a bride to stress about. He responded, we set a time and place to meet and upon meeting his out-there character made it even easier. Kouki is funny and helpful, he asks questions that helped me get a lot of things ticked off my list, my then fiancé was sold from our first meeting. We had our engagement shoot that same year and we thought those were amazing, not knowing our wedding ones would be even more spectacular. We met a couple of times after to confirm everything and then in May 2021 the day came. He stayed longer than planned right until it finished, he bought us a 24k gold win, he danced and when we were sent out an album I cried. They say a picture speaks a thousand words, and that saying is true in its purest form when pictures are taken by Kouki. Thank you Kouk, you were worth what we paid and we will always cherish our wedding album. Such raw pictures you captured. From the moment we met Michael and his team, we felt so comfortable and he quickly became like family to us. As is the case with traditional Indian weddings there are a lot of things happening and a lot of emotions and activities.
